Since Matt is home a little more right now we've started some daily family routines that have made this quarantine thing not so bad. First, Matt is making a daily maze for each boy to work, which they absolutely love. We also go on daily walks/bike-rides. After one such walk, Matt decided to let Ruth get in on the riding action and drove her around on what will be her balance bike once she masters independent walking. Don't worry, her helmet is on the way!
For yet another fun family outing, Grandad showed us all a place he discovered in Pueblo Mountain Park that is off the beaten path - Hobbitville! It's a fun woodland village made up of stick structures, rocks, and plenty of trees in the middle of the woods. We had the place to ourselves for a picnic and play time, and boys had an absolute blast. The adults just tried to keep Ruth from eating everything on the ground, lol!
Finally, this week brought the transformation of our caterpillars to butterflies as they emerged from their chrysalis'. We kept them for a few days to watch them before releasing them in our front yard. Thank you to our cousins for that fun experiment!
