Fortunately we recovered and got to go to some fun events. We hit up a truck event in which Micah got to look at and sit in a bunch of different vehicles used around the city (fire truck, ambulance, motorcycle, police car, front loader, street sweeper, dump truck). He thought it was pretty cool. Ezra slept and hung out in the stroller watching everything. Next year buddy.
Nana and Grandad came for the weekend after we were all well again to go to some resident events with us. We got to go to the Dayton Air Show, which was really cool because we were in a private chalet for Kettering Health and got to see the action front and center. Micah loved it and was in plane heaven... Ezra, not so much. The boys wore ear protection that we brought for them, but Ezra still hated the loud engines and cried during the really loud planes. But we got through and he liked the quiet planes! We also got to go to a picnic and water park. Unfortunately, it was a little chilly (both the water and the air), so the boys weren't huge fans. Micah had fun in the shallow water, but got too cold otherwise. Ezra just thought everything was plain cold. Poor guy :)
