My Spring Break started on Good Friday, so little man and I have been spending more time together, which has been a blast! Micah is so funny and sweet. He loves climbing the stairs (though his version of trying to come back down is sliding down on his belly.... not so safe), "reading" books, opening and closing things (doors, cabinets), and imitating noises that you make. He also enjoys being chased, which is sure to incite a full belly laugh from the little guy!
Grandma and Grandpa Rodgers and Aunt Caroline came to visit over the weekend to celebrate Easter and Micah's birthday a little early (the first of 3 mini-celebrations). He loved all of the attention and of course the presents! He got bath toys, gardening tools, sunglasses, pj's, and books for Easter. And his birthday present from his grandparents was his very first red wagon! We took a test walk around the neighborhood to try it out, and it was a definite hit. The ribbons attached to the present and the Easter basket were a close second place for presents, but in the food category... the cake was king. It was Micah's first taste of cake, and he was a big fan. He was hoarding it in both fists by the time he was done!
