As the temperatures warmed up in the days after Easter we got out to get Ezra some practice on the red pedal bike that Micah has now vacated. A few practice sessions later and we have a second boy independently riding a pedal bike. Ezra was so excited at how fast he could go and we're so proud of him for mastering the bike so quickly! Not to be outdone by Micah's new bike and Ezra learning a pedal bike, Ruth also got in on the wheels action by getting in some practice steps with the new-to-her push toy. These three sure are fun to have around and they certainly mean that life is never dull!

It was a perfect hike for the boys: lots of rocks, not too much elevation change, and some wildlife sightings to keep them excited. They both hiked almost all of the 4ish miles too!
