Another question that is now making it's way front and center is, "What gender do you think you are having? Do you have a feeling yet?" The short answer? No, I don't have a feeling yet... or at least not a consistent feeling. It changes from day to day. Some of my friends who have had babies already are asking if I have had any dreams that reveal gender. Well after this weekend, I can say yes! But before you get too excited, I had two different dreams the same night. And in the first Baby Rodgers was a girl, and in the second, a boy. Wholly inconclusive for those who have had success with their gender dreams. What does Matt say you may ask? Well, nothing on this topic. He won't even tell me what he thinks, though he enjoys asking about what I think ;)
So looking to things we do know... Baby should be about 16.7 inches long and over 3 pounds by now! Baby's big to-do's are growing his or her brain and adding on the fat. As Baby's brain gets bigger and better, Baby will start to take on more tasks related to controlling his or her own body, like temperature regulation. Baby is also starting to shed his or her lanugo (or soft body hair that has been helping to keep him or her warm). To get an idea of just how big Baby is, check out the video of Baby Rodgers on the move below (just click on the link). I took this on Saturday when Baby was VERY active!
