I also got to enjoy some fun time with my students exchanging gifts, wearing PJ's to school today, and having a Winter Party so celebrate the season. I'm not sure who gets more benefit from the teacher gifts though... me or Matt. He's certainly been enjoying all the truffles I bring home from my students! I did get a kick out of one of my student's gifts though - soothing lotion to help relieve stress and help me sleep. According to my student, her mom thinks I probably need it, LOL!
Moving on to Baby Rodgers... Baby spent his or her time growing! Baby is now about the size of a head of cauliflower and weighs about 1.5 pounds. Baby knows which way is up and down and has functioning vocal cords now (don't worry, they aren't for crying...yet!). Baby is also working on lung development for when Baby does need to breath outside of the uterus in about 15 weeks!
Finally, Baby and I had a check-up and our glucose test on Monday. I am measuring right at 25 weeks, and Baby has a strong heartbeat in the 150's. Everything looks good and we're chugging along healthy and strong!
