For Thanksgiving Matt's family decided to spend a few days in a cabin near Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Resort Park. We arrived the day before Thanksgiving and spent the afternoon exploring around our cabin. On Thanksgiving morning we drove to Natural Bridge State Resort Park and hiked a a little over a mile up to the beautiful Natural Bridge that the park is named for. You could hike across it, which was really cool and of course all of the rocks and stairs were a blast for the boys. After our morning hiking we went back to the cabin for food, games, and relaxation. On Friday morning, Trent, Matt, and a friend of Trent's went climbing while the rest of us checked out Hidden Arch (a much smaller arch tucked into a cliffside). It was a beautiful day and we got the place to ourselves for the hike. After the hike and a much needed nap time, Grandpa and the boys made a fire outside the cabin where we enjoyed dinner, s'mores, and, after it got dark, a special log that made our fire colorful! We couldn't have asked for better weather to enjoy the outdoors at the end of November. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the fun Thanksgiving!

It looks like a great time was had by everyone! Awesome family, pictures, and narrative, too. ;-)
