Those of you that follow the blog know that it has been a bit since I have posted. Moving halfway across the country, settling in, having a baby... it's been a heck of a summer. I am, however, going to attempt to catch everyone up on our lives starting with the journey west at the beginning of July! July started off with a final birthday celebration in Ohio - happy birthday to me! That quickly turned to final packing preparations and the loading of our moving truck. After a hiccup during the loading process (all of our stuff did not fit in the truck!) and a very LONG day of a last minute trailer rental and driving to Indy for the night, our journey was underway. We spent a night in Indy at Grandma Judy's, had breakfast with Meredith, Aunt Debra and Uncle Matt, and picked up Grandma for the drive west. A 2nd night was spent in St. Louis at Aunt Rachel's and Uncle Mike's house followed by a 3rd night in Manhattan, KS at Great Aunt Rachel's house where we got to visit more family and check out Cousin Dustin's police car. Matt and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary by finally arriving in Pueblo, CO with the boys, Grandma, Nana, and Grandad and a whole caravan of vehicles and a moving truck. We got the keys to our rental house and moved in on July 10th. We also got to meet with the nurse practitioner at my new OB's office and Baby Rodgers and I checked out great! We are all quite relieved to have made it to CO with no mishaps on the road and no baby being born on the way! Now to unpack...
