We didn't leave Grandad and Nana all to themselves for the long weekend though. They brought along a couple of small things for Micah: his yearly ornament, a singing snowman duo, and a large wooden alphabet puzzle which Micah LOVES (seriously, we work it at least twice a day). We also took Nane and Grandad to the Air Force Museum on a cold, snowy morning so they could see all the cool planes. Well, some of the cool planes, since the place takes days to get through. Grandad found a plane made in Evansville, IN during the war!
After Nana and Grandad left, Micah and I decided to make some Christmas sugar cookies to really liven up the Christmas mood. Micah had a blast helping, though decorating got a bit tedious after a while, so I had to finish during nap time. Of course his favorite part is getting to eat the cookies, and he looks forward to his after dinner dessert every day!
