This past weekend, we got a chance to visit Newport Aquarium in Cincinnati, OH for free through one of the awesome resident family events that Matt's program puts on. Micah got to touch a horseshoe crab, starfish, an American Alligator, and a sting-ray. He was a little too shy to touch the shark. Micah and Ezra both tried very hard to touch and make friends with the sea turtle, but the darn glass got in the way! Micah and Ezra also got to "Meet a Penguin" after a penguin talk (meaning they had a penguin out on a platform and you could walk up and say hi). However, I think their favorite part was the giant tunnel that goes through the shark tank. Micah was SO excited, jumping around and spinning to look at everything, which of course made Ezra laugh too. At the end, Micah and Dada got to walk over the shark tank on a rope bridge! Definitely a fun day and a nice break to have Dada to hang out with for a whole day. And let's just say that about 15 minutes after we left, the backseat was VERY quiet.... zzzzzzz.

What fun watching and reading your updates, Allison! The boys are growing so fast. Micah looked like he just loved touching all the different fishy animals. Ezra sitting up is so great and seems early to us. Many we know are so much slower. Love, G' Grammy and G' Grandpa
