Monday brought the last full day of our stay. We took the boys on a walk, started packing (let's just say that cleaning a house after 4 small boys have taken over is no small feat ;) ), and tried to take some pictures of all the cousins together. Let's just say that taking a picture of 4 boys ages 3 and under went about as well as it sounds it would go... On Tuesday we all had to say goodbye and board our flights back home. We'll definitely need to do more of these family trips next time; hopefully Alex can come along too!
Once we got settled, we took the boys on some adventures around Steamboat Springs. On Friday, we all rode a large lift called the Gondola up to a lodge midway up the mountain to have lunch together before sending the big boys off to ski/snowboard. Jack and Micah had fun trying out the snowboard with Uncle Jon before we headed back down the mountain. On Saturday, everyone went tubing together. Micah barely cracked a smile the whole time, but wanted to keep tubing, so we're pretty sure he had fun. He tends to be pretty serious for new experiences plus he was wearing sunglasses for the first time (which were adorable). Ezra was the only one who didn't tube at all, preferring to stay safely tucked in the building sleeping. On Sunday we explored the town, visited a nature center, and found a herd of elk to spy on.
