Ezra turned 6 months old last week, but I forgot to take his picture, so here he is. His 6 month doctor's appointment is next week, so we'll see how he is growing then. He has taken a bit more liking to food, mainly fruit, and now enjoys yogurt at breakfast daily. He seems to prefer mashed up foods on a spoon, as he doesn't do a lot of chewing yet, but even that he won't eat a lot of. However, he thoroughly enjoys getting to play and throw the spoon! Ezra has also started cooing as his way of talking to you, which is so cute. And he graduated to a mini tub since he is now sitting up on his own! He definitely thinks he is pretty hot stuff with this sitting up business, as you can see with his joyful red car picture, haha.
Micah is still struggling with his mom phase, but the good news about this phase of life is that in addition to wanting mama, he also seems to have decided he appreciates underwear full-time. For the last week he has consistently told me when he needs to potty both during the day AND at night. He'll wake up and demand to go potty and go right back to sleep. Or just sleep all night and go first thing in the morning. But he's been waking up dry for a week, so we're in underwear at night starting tonight too. Crazy! Hopefully it sticks... Micah also has a new favorite place: the grocery store. Our Kroger opened up a brand new mega store and it has kid-sized shopping carts. Micah loves them and was happy to grocery shop so he could put stuff in "his" cart. And boy can he move when pushing that thing... I had to work to keep up with him!
