After a lot of cold and rain it finally cleared out for some nice afternoon hikes! We went to Quarry Park a couple of times because the boys absolutely love to climb on the rocks. Matt also spent some time giving Micah some more chess lessons during Ezra's nap time, which Micah in turn gave Ezra the following morning, lol. A neighbor cut down a couple of trees and gave us some logs to put in our yard for climbing, jumping, and playing with trucks on/around. It seems to be a hit thus far! The boys have been taking swim lessons this fall too, and enjoy practicing their back floats in the tub. So cute! This past weekend Nana and Grandad came back to stay with the boys while Matt and I took a long day trip up to Michigan for our first rogaine TOGETHER. We've been trying to do one for years but between pregnancies and other commitments it just never worked out. Matt is a veteran at these, but it was my first one, and I had a blast! Learning to navigate turned out to be pretty intuitive with my excellent teacher (Matt), and we managed to cover 23.5 miles in just under 8 hours! I could barely walk by the end (or the next day for that matter), but I would love to do one again sometime!
