Ruth also had her 2 month check-up at the end of September. She was pronounced healthy and strong weighing in at 13 lbs, 2 oz and being exactly 24 inches tall. She is smiling now and hitting objects hung above her. She loves to be talked to and to participate with everyone else in whatever is going on. She's a fabulous night sleeper but not such a fan of naps. And, of course, her brothers are in love with her. Micah, especially, loves to cuddle her and talk to her.
Grandad and Nana brought Great Grandma Pat for a visit at the end of September for about 10 days. Besides reading a lot (the boys love books!) we took Grandma Pat on some adventures too! We went and checked out the Pueblo Railway Museum and got to tour a few train cars and see some real trains drive around the train yard. We also went back to Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs because the paved main trail made for a nice path for everyone to walk. Nana went back to Pittsburgh after a few days but Grandad and I took everyone to Pueblo Mountain Park to play and have a picnic lunch one day. We also walked the neighborhood and the boys showed off their bike riding skills. We even got to celebrate Grandma Pat's birthday while she was here! Having birthday parties is a a favorite thing around here because we always make cake, and the boys have a thing for cake, lol.
