On Sunday night, Matt's residency held a family fun night at Scene 75, which is a giant indoor entertainment park (food, arcade games, mini-bowling, go-karts, bouncy houses, mini-golf). It was super busy and over-stimulating but there were a ton of fun things to do and his program paid for it all (wohoo!). Ezra got carried around on my back to watch the fun, but Micah got to try mini-bowling, some arcade games, and ride in a go-kart for the first time. After we left we asked him what his favorite part was... the go-karts! He apparently liked driving fast (we're in for it)!
Mid-February has been a nice, quiet, relaxing time in the Rodgers' house. We celebrated Valentine's Day with a quiet exchange of a few treats for everyone (and of course sharing around the treats from Grandma and Grandpa!). The boys got some cards in the mail which they love to open. Micah was quiet fond of his turtle card from Grandma Judy that he could open the arms on and give himself a hug with, lol! Ezra also got a special delivery of a passenger train from his aunt, uncle, and cousins for his birthday which was a hit for everyone and may or may not have already invoked a few brotherly fights. Ezra likes to pull the train cars apart and take the people out and then put them back in. Micah, meanwhile, likes to use the train in it's more proper function of driving the people around from place to place along the tracks. The results of our compromise are shown in the above picture, haha.

What pure fun to watch the boys at play! It brings so much happiness to two old people shut in by this gloomy rain we have been having. Many thanks to you Allison for all your updates on our precious little ones. G' Grammy R. and G' Pawpaw R.
