Upon returning home, Micah and I spent a couple of weeks playing outside, reading LOTS of books, and watching the Olympics of course. Micah didn't much care for watching the Olympics though, so he often played or read books while I was watching for short times in the afternoon.
Our good friends, the Leschkes, came to visit for a couple of days as well. We took them to the Air Force Museum and also played some intense games of Catan after the kids went to bed. They beat us all three nights...
Micah is changing so quickly it's ridiculous. He learns at least one new word every day, and had developed a hilarious sense of humor. He also loves to be independent, and often refuses to eat something unless he can hold it and feed it to himself. He loves slides and dogs, and has also found a new toad friend in our backyard that he likes to check on regularly.
