We also have been enjoying the warmer weather and went on a hike in the last of the melting snow a couple of weeks ago. Micah loved being outside for a hike again and especially loved throwing his head back to look up at the sky. Since the sun has finally made an appearance, Micah got his first pair of sun glasses for use this summer. He wasn't quite sure what to think of them... but Dad likes them!
We also introduced Micah to the big boy tub. He wasn't quite sure what to think of all the space at first, and even now (after over a week) he still just sits and looks all around, haha.
Developmentally, Micah can walk really well holding on to things as he goes, and pretty well if he just holds on to even one hand, but he refuses to try walking without holding on to anything yet. He is getting taller though, because he can definitely reach things on the side tables in the living room that he couldn't before... He has also taking a liking to the stairs, and enjoys trying to climb them (with supervision of course!).
We had two big events this last week that have changed our lives forever. The first, Micah lost his first great grandmother to cancer - Great Grandma Woods. We attended her funeral on Wednesday to say our goodbyes to her. She will be sorely missed, though we are happy she has found her eternal home! The second event being today - Match Day. We found out that we will be moving to Dayton, OH for Matt to complete his residency training at Wright State. We are excited to be closer to much of our family!
