The kids have been doing wonderfully in this transition to three. Micah and Ezra adore Ruth. Micah goes around telling her she's "so cute" every chance he gets, and Ezra loves to give her kisses and hugs and assist with diaper changes. They've been doing really well with having patience and waiting their turns most of the time too. Ruth is growing like a weed and is quickly outgrowing the 0-3 month cloths; it looks like I'll be switching out cloths sizes again! Ruth has also transitioned to shorter naps during the day, but an earlier bedtime. She usually goes to bed about the same time as the boys and sleeps for a solid 12 hours with only a single wake-up to feed about 2/3 of the way through the night. It's been amazing to be able to sleep in big chunks again!
Finally, it appears that Ezra at last has become open to the idea of using the potty (he's had the ability and awareness to for a long time but just flat out refused to use it). Just in the last few days he has agreed to try underwear and using the potty, and he has done fabulous! We've barely had any accidents, he tells me when he needs to go (I got scolded by him for asking too often and he informed he would let me know, lol), and he finally seems excited about it. The only hitch at the moment is that he strongly prefers to just use his little floor potty, so venturing out of the house has a whole new element to it now!
