Having all the cousins together is always a blast, and this trip was no exception. They all get along so well and of course there were a ton of new presents to explore with each other. Micah's favorite part, besides his cousins, was definitely Nana and Grandad's battery operated train around their Christmas tree. He sat and drove that thing with the remote for as long as you would let him. And he got to sleep next to it at night, so the train and him had a special bond. Ezra's favorite part was... sledding. Grandad bought him his own special sled with a seat belt and he loved being pulled around and pushed down hills. His sledding attire earned him the nickname of "Little Eskimo".
While in Pittsburgh, we all took a trip to the Natural History Museum which was really cool (full of thousands of animal species on display). Micah was a little perturbed by a display of a turkey vulture feeding on a dead elk, and so I had to talk him through the circle of life a bit. It always amazes me how thoughtful and insightful he is.
Eventually we did have to head home, much to everyone's dismay, but the cousins try to stay in touch via Facetime between visits!
