I ashamedly also realized that we didn't update everyone on Micah's stats at 2.5 years old (which was just under a month ago). Micah weighed 28 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 35.5 inches tall (50th percentiles) at his doctor's visit on October 10. His Casteel and Rodgers' metabolisms have already taken over and this kid eats adult meals and still is a string bean. Micah's favorite things are still trucks and trains, which is what he spends the majority of his time playing with. He also enjoys puzzles and reading (he spent 30 minutes this morning sitting in the red chair in his room reading books to himself!) When outside, he enjoys riding his tricycle all around the neighborhood.
Over the weekend we got some visitors as they passed through town. Great Grandma Judy, Nana, and Grandad used our house as a meeting point for a trip they were taking so we go to see them a couple different days as they came and went. The boys enjoyed the extra attention and had a good time showing off their skills!
Finally, I've been getting some inquiries from our wonderful family about Christmas and (especially Ezra) birthday ideas. As many of you have probably noticed from the pictures, Matt and I have tried to simplify the number of toys we have and are moving toward more wooden and natural materials when possible so that we will have these beautiful toys to pass on to all of our children. To help family out, I put some ideas on Amazon wish lists (links at the top of the blog). You by no means have to buy from Amazon (in fact you can mark it bought no matter where you buy it from) but this will give you an idea of what we are looking for as we try to keep our home less cluttered. Another fun idea for gifts is always "experience" gifts too. We would love an annual family pass to our local museum - Boonshoft Museum of Discovery or a gift card to our local trampoline park (Get Air) to take the boys jumping this winter. Thank you guys so much for loving on our boys!
