We also spent a lot of time with friends during the week, getting a glimpse into what our life will be like one year from now. In the medical world, Match Day is a huge event in which 4th year medical students finally find out where they are placed for their residencies. For many of our friends, they were matching this year, so they got their big news on Friday about where they would be spending the next 3-7 years of their lives. Unfortunately for us, the two other couples whom we are close to both matched outside of the Milwaukee area... so as of June we will not have our close friends with babies to hang out with. We celebrated them matching and moving on to their next adventures on Friday with them anyway, even though we will be so sad to see them go.
Matt's mom and sister also came up on Friday night for the weekend, bringing with them tons of frozen meals for us to use when Baby arrives, as well as cooking more food for us while here. It was great to see them and visit them once more before Baby takes over all the attention! ;) Of course Baby did steal some of the attention, and got more presents too!
