We are also enjoying our social life to the fullest. So in that spirit, we went to my school's Spaghetti Dinner on Friday night to socialize with the Poplar Creek families and help out the PTO. Then on Saturday, Matt went out to enjoy the 60 degree weather (what??!!!) with a run, and I opened up all the windows and just enjoyed the sunshine. We decided to get together with friends for pizza on Saturday evening, which turned into a late evening of just hanging out and chatting about life. It also became the start of plans for more get-togethers this coming week... starting on Monday! So Monday afternoon found Matt grilling tenderloins on the grill for everyone, while they all brought the sides and drinks to make it a fantastic first grill out of the season. We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our first 70 degree day of the year!
Even though Baby could come at any time, that doesn't mean Baby isn't continuing to grow while he or she remains in the womb. Baby should be about 6 1/2 pounds and about 19 inches long this week. To occupy his or her time, Baby is practicing inhaling, exhaling, sucking, gripping, and blinking. And of course, Baby is continuing to put on the fat, about 1/2 ounce a day!
